you are blushing

You have used the foundation, applied the eye shadow, mascara, and then, the lipstick/lip gloss.
But you are forgetting something here. Guess what it is?
The brush!
It often the last cosmetic to be used on the face and it simulates a natural glow. Blush may come as a cream, gel, or powder blush comes in larger variety of shades. On bare skin or over foundation you may use any texture but if you use facial powder, then applying powder blush on top is your only choice.
Choose your blush
Make do with a shade from the cool palette to add a healthy glow to your face. Any kind of pink is a good choice for lighter complexions. While cool berries and plum shades will work for deeper skin tones.
Choose a shade ranging from delicate apricot, for a fair complexion, to burnt orange, for a deep skin tone. Warm-coloured blush with orange undertones is best for contouring the cheeks.
Shades between the cool and warm palettes suit any complexion. Peachy for light skin, rosewood for medium skin, or red for dark or black skin.
You may use two blushers; a dark warm or natural shade for contouring, and a light pink or neutral shade to add a healthy glow. It will add luminosity to your face, and is especially good with night make-up.

Applying blush
• Blush should be applied should be applied to the fullest part of your check. Use a blush to sweep the colour back toward the temple. Once your blush is in place, take a cotton ball and blend until you have just a hint of natural looking blush colour.
• To find out the actual position of the apple of your cheek, look into the mirror and smile and then sweep the brush upward in an arc from your cheekbone to your hairline.
• Accentuate the cheekbones by using a slightly darker shade there while blending it down the cheek for more natural look.
• Make the face look wider, by looking straight into the mirror and applying the blusher on the cheekbone from under the centre of the eye to the temple.
• A full round brush gives a profession look and makes the overall look softer and more desirable.
