Waist trainers: torture or pleasure?

How can one ever feel comfortable in a waist trainer?
If you’ve ever considered a waist trainer or body magic to make you look better, you’re not alone. Body magic and waist trainers have been rising in popularity in recent years, and should only get more and more popular as the baby boomer population ages, and needs more support holding everything together. It’s also a popular choice for those that are only slightly overweight, as it’s meant to reduce the appearance of things like the waistline by a few inches instantly.

Body magic can do a lot of different things depending on what you’re after. If you have a specific body part or region in mind, they can help improve its appearance, either by making it look slimmer or trimmer. For example, if you have a problem with back fat, there are body shapers that can work to smooth out your back and make it look less noticeable.

If your tummy is the problem, you can get a waist trainer or even body magic that will help hold everything in, thus giving the appearance of being a few inches trimmer – instantly. There are also body magic that work on areas like keeping your butt in the right place, and also pushing up the breasts so they appear fuller.

But at what cost?
1.     You Don’t “Lose” Weight – Experts have said that those who solely use waist trainers without exercise don’t lose weight, its just your organs are pushed around into differ
2     . You Move Less – Many people who wear waist trainers tend to move less because of the constriction associated with pulling the body together.
3     . You Eat Less – Since many waist trainers make you feel full, many tend to eat less and sometimes that “less” means less vital fruits & veggies

Are Body magic and waist trainers Safe?
It may seem that body magic and waist trainers can’t be good for you, because the body isn’t meant to spend so much time all compressed together like that. It also raises concerns about circulation, and cutting off the blood supply to certain organs and limbs. Of course nothing is more natural than just being natural, and so wearing a body magic and wait trainer can’t be deemed as safe as not wearing one, but as far as it being a health hazard, that’s quite a leap. The best piece of advice would be not to wear a body magic that causes any amount of discomfort.
